If you are considering recording a conversation at work, perhaps you should carefully review your employer’s Employee Handbook, Company Policy Book, Compliance Manual, or similar set of “rules and regulations” to see whether recording conversations of others at work is deemed a violation of company rules. . And don’t forget that “cause” termination could result in forfeiture of unvested equity, deferred compensation, and even ineligibility for unemployment compensation.
