First, a quick recap: As of December 1, if you earn less than $47,476 annually, your employer will be legally required to pay you overtime (time and a half) when you work over 40 hours in a week. To be exempt, you must meet two tests: a salary test and a duties test. The duties portion of the law isn’t changing, only the salary level.
