The management at his work is fairly incompetent, which has been a growing source of frustration for him, and he’s actively looking for a new job. He decided (and I agree) that the best course of action would be to accept the terms of the performance plan without argument and seek clarification on the metrics of the plan wherever possible, but on the whole redouble job-searching efforts. I’ll be working in a temp agency as a recruiter.
