How to put blog comments to good use | Penelope Trunk's Brazen.

Penelope Trunk

I read the comments from farm families and gave them extra weight. There were lots of people who told me that the family was insane and that the guy should always choose me before the farm but I decided that if you want to live on a farm, you have to live by those values, so I should go with what the farm family comments told me. I knew a family growing up who had a family farm. The farmer's family seemed to rise up as one to expel you from their midst.

The Internet provides books and discussion, so why would you need to go to school for those things? Career centers are in the business of booking interviews on campus. Do you overemphasize happiness? | Penelope Trunk's Brazen Careerist

Penelope Trunk

For one thing, people who are happy do not look for a lot of choices, according to Barry Schwartz, in his book, The Paradox of Choice. People live in Wisconsin because the lifestyle is easy – family is here, personal history is here, things generally are fine. His book, Create Your Own Economy , is about how the information flow of the Internet allows us to manage our careers differently than before. Hell, raising a family on that much is tough enough in Detroit.
