I feel an urgent need to separate a sane online conversation about women at work from an insane media that is doing exactly what destroys women at work: Making it extremely difficult for me to have a manageable schedule for parenting. Although I was raised on the East Coast, my parents are midwestern, and I spent many summers in Minnesota and Wisconsin, and think the midwest is a great place to raise kids. My kids were also raised in a small Wisconsin town, with graduating high school classes of less than 100. Is this your first time here?
